Another Crucial Personal Training Marketing Strategy…

Remember the good old days, where you were the only personal trainer on the block. When people that were looking to get in shape, though of you first. Your training programs were unique and highly sought after.

Those days are long gone!

Now, personal training has begun theĀ  “starbucks effect” and there are personal trainers on every block. And there all saying the same damn thing, “Train with me, I’m the best!”

This happens in every industry over time, especially when there is big opportunity in the market. So how can you stand out from the herd?

Easy. You do this by using Branding Strategies.

You can’t just offer personal training packages. You have to offer personal training packages with a Killer, Benefit Based, name.

If you are creative and the name works very well it can generate publicity, and you can become well known as the guy that created the” ______ system” or whatever you decide to call it.

Here’s a tip, protect your brand and your names, people will steal them. A registered trademark will do the trick, that way if someone does steal it a nice legal letter will usually do the trick.

Just for fun, I googled the first personal training program name that I came up with and I found 23 different people that were using it. It’s too bad I was’nt savvy back then and didn’t think to protect it.

In short, be creative when you choose your business names, and remember to protect them if you think they will be valuable to you in the future.
